Hold your nerve and collect cards to build your cash amount but stop before the Bong, or lose everything you collected that round!
Get ready
Play with 2 to 6 players. Write each name on the paper scorepad. Give everyone a Stop Token.
Remove the Bong Card when using this app. Shuffle the 24 Money Cards and deal one face up to each player. The highest card starts; tied highest players draw again until there is one winner. Give them the Start Token.
Collect and reshuffle all the Money Cards. Place them face down in the middle. Put the phone where everyone can hear it.
Start the round
Select how many people are playing before starting. Each round gives everyone one safe opening turn before the Bong can hit.
Tap Start Round. Wait for the introduction and for the five-second countdown to begin. The player with the Start Token then has five seconds to take the top card, look at it secretly and place it face down in front of them.
A cash-register sound means you survived. The timer holds at zero briefly, then the screen says “NEXT PLAYER” and changes colour. After this one-second handover, the next player has five seconds. Continue to the next player on the left, skipping anyone who has already stopped or been eliminated.
If you neither stop nor take a card during your five seconds, you are eliminated and score nothing that round.
Know when to stop
At any time, even outside your turn, you can place your Stop Token on your cards and say “Stop”. Your total is safe and you take no further part in that round.
If everyone stops, tap ALL STOPPED. END ROUND. The app stops the sounds and shows “MONEY SAFE!”.
When the Bong hits
The Bong ends the whole round. Everyone still in loses all the money they collected that round and scores zero. Players who already stopped keep their secured total.
Next round
Record the scores, collect and reshuffle all Money Cards, and move the Start Token to the next player on the left.
- 2 players: eight rounds, each player starts four rounds.
- 3 players: six rounds, each starts two rounds.
- 4 players: eight rounds, each starts two rounds.
- 5 or 6 players: each starts one round.
Winning
Add up the scores. The highest cash total wins. Tied leaders play an extra round.
Using the app
The app supplies timing and sounds; keep using your physical cards, tokens and paper scorepad. If you switch apps or lock the phone, the round pauses. Tap Resume when you return.
Sound can be switched off; watch the handover messages and Bong result when playing silently. For offline play, load the app online first and wait for “Ready offline”.
Playing without the app
Shuffle the Bong Card into the Money Cards. Drawing it replaces the Bong sound. There is no time pressure on each turn.
